We can all thank our generous classmate Suzy for arranging and providing our transportation. As the vice-president of the largest travel agency in North America, she had her company build a major airport in Litchfield last year and provided her private jet to pick everyone up free of charge. A major reason for the success of Suzy’s company is due to the busi- ness of one of her former classmates, Tina. After graduation, she planned to travel Europe during the summer and go to college that fall. Sometime during that summer she changed her mind and decided to become a professional tourist and has been traveling the world ever since. She is wanted in eleven different countries for breaking the im- port laws for bringing in too much luggage. As I walked into the reunion, I noticed a large crowd gathered around a man making everyone laugh so I went over to see who it was. I realized it was the person who took over the show “Late Night with David Letterman” and then it dawned on me that this was my former classmae Brian. His major ambition in life was to host “Saturday Night Live” someday. The moment I saw a man in his Air Force dress Blues with cowboy boots and a cowboy hat, I knew immediately that it was Brad. When asked about his apparel, he said he got the United States Supreme Court to allow the boots and hat as part of the official uniform. Later, I discovered that during vacations and on weekends he was a rodeo par- ticipant, with his main event being goat roping. Paul went to college majoring in art. He was very successful work- ing his way up to drawing cartoons for television. Although he got fired from this job for having Wile E. Coyote finally catch and eat the Road- runner, he enjoys working on his new project-carving his own face on Mt. Rushmore. Some lady came up to me, shook my hand, and asked for my vote at the next election. She was running for Nebraska’s Secretary of State. I then knew it had to be Paula because she was our class secretary for three years, Annual Staff secretary. Pep Club secretary, and L-Club sec- retary. Besides being qualified for the job, she felt it was fate to be in this line of work. Her name was Paula so she was always meant to be a paulatician. I remembered seeing Terrell in People magazine’s selection for one of the top ten best-dressed women in America, so I went over to congrat- ulate her. She told me since then modeling offers have been coming in constantly. After talking a while longer I learned that she is still trying to sell her orange vega and anyone interested should contact her. When I ran into Jacki I asked her what she has been doing the last ten years. After an hour and a half I finally got the courage to interrupt her and ask if she could send me a letter telling me of the remaining eight years. I did find out, however, that she wanted to go to Paris to study the latest in fashion and hair designing and make a career in that field back in the United States. When I got a chance to talk to Teresa, I inquired about which career she decided to pursue. She couldn’t decide whether to become a parale- gal or become a psychiatrist. While thinking about it one day, she real- ized she would either be talking to people the rest of her life or listening to people th rest of her life. Since then, she has led a happy life as a paralegal. I was a little hungry so I walked over to the refreshment table and of course ran in to Leland. He began telling me about how he cold not decide what college to go to or what engineering field to pursue. Using his scientific mind, he chose to go to all the Ivy League schools and get a different degree at each one. He has already graduated from Yale and Harvard and is currently enrolled in Princeton. Ten years ago Shawn went off to Hastings Tech. He specialized in electronics and technology and his goal was to become a successful inventor. His favorite invention is a car that can be put on automatic driver. This way he can sleep on all those lonely two hour trips to the west. He has also made large investments in the powdered milk indus- try. Rick, also going to Hastings Tech, moved to Los Angeles upon grad- uation. There he designs and builds special ordered cars for movie stars and other famous people. When he has enough money saved up, he goes to the beach and becomes a beach bum. After this money runs out he goes back to work and starts over again. Lori explained to me that her love of sports caused her to end up where she is today. After watching an unsuccessful showing of the United States in the 1988 Winter Opympics, she wanted to do her part to help America do better. W’ith several years of hard work, she became the first woman to make the U.S. ice-hockey team, hut before they were able to compete, she married the captain. They moved back to Nebras- ka and currently have four kids. After the sixth consecutive winless season, the Dallas Cowbows football team went up for sale for practically nothing. Michelle, filling her life-long dream, jumped at the chance and became owner. During the next couple of years the team still did not win a game and she was nearing bankrupcy. To solve the problem she moved to Montana where she bought a ranch of several thousand sheep. In a short amount of time all her debts were paid off and she has been living a financially success- ful life ever since. Senior Class President Gary Arnold 14 Brian Axmann Gary Arnold In everything you do put God When all else fails, skip school first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success - Proverbs 3:6 SENIORS Class motto: What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us. Emerson Class flower: long- stem rose Class colors: peach and blue 16 Brad Corbin Paul Evans Cowboys are more fun. Jacqueline Feldman Richter Hold fast to your dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken winged bird that cannot fly. I’m tired of all this nonsense about beauty being only skin- deep. That’s deep enough. What do you want- an adorable pancre- Paula Holm Success lies not in being the best, but in doing your best. Lori LeFever The toughest thing about success is that you’ve got to keep on be- ing a success. Kendra Rasmussen I’m free to do anything I want, but just not old enough. Tina Mason Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead, where there is no path and leave a trail. Michelle Royle Imagination is more important than knowledge. 18 Terrell Simonson The best of life is that which ever reaches upward and strives toward better things.
