SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY The date is June 1996 and I. Todd Wardyn have just returned from the rth world tour of my all star female mud wrestling team The tour took a lot out of me. Upon returning to my Beverly Hills mansion I discovered the announce- ment of my ten year class reunion. The excitement of seeing all my old buddies after ten years completely overcame my fatigue and I couldn't wait to get back to Litchfield. As I pulled into town I could see smoke rolling from the new factory just north of town. When I got closer I could see a bnght neon sign that said Lenny and Jordan’s Builder Bobs Incorporated. I went inside to see how my old friends were doing. They seemed to be pretty excited because they were working on their latest model of Builder Bob safety glasses. They were being made out of a substance that enabled the wearer to see through most types of materials. Their sales would hopefully skyrocket within a year's time It was getting close to noon so we decided to go downtown for a bite to eat. As we headed downtown we passed by the new town jail. Inside behind the bars we recognized none other than the Litchfield Zoo keeper and State Game Warden Wendy Wilson We entered and were told by the town cop that Wendy was in council with the top psychiatnst in the state. Kelly Axmann. Kelly informed us that Wendy had been arrested for carrying a concealed weapon which turned out to be a revolver full of tranquilizer darts. She said that Wendy had told her that her favonte hippopotamus had gone mad and broken out of the zoo and was running loose in the town Since that night was our class reunion we decided to bail Wendy out We all agreed to help Wendy in her hunt and with that we started off As we neared the school we saw the sight of our lives. Apparently the hippo had charged the school and there nding upon the hippo's back was Polly Gorecki. the school supenntendent Lucky for Polly the P E. coach. Barb Wilson and the Science teacher. Tammy Schroll caught up with the hippo and were able to pull her off without injury. The wild hippo predicament got so much attention that the television show Nightline decided to send their best journalist. Kelli Sekutera to cover the story Meanwhile the hippo was tearing up the town. It broke into the power station and left the town powerless. Engineers, Greg Heapy and Jay Kucera were called in to restore the power Luckily they had been on their way to Litchfield and had brought their tools with them so it didn't take much time for the power to be restored. In order to prevent further destruction and risk of safety the National Guard was sent in to capture the hippo. As they marched into town the familiar voice of Dnll Sergeant. Ed LeFever was heard keeping the unit in step. The hippo was finally surrounded in an open area and Warden Wilson was able to shoot the hippo with a tranquilizer. As we secured the hippo up drove Jay Dunning, a practicing dentist with his secretary. Sonia Kwiatkowski. As we told him our story, he examined the hippo's teeth and discovered that the reason the hippo was mad was because he had a bad tooth With the help of Soma. Jay was able to pull the bad tooth He guaranteed that when the hippo woke up. it would feel much better With that Ed ordered some of his troops to fly the hippo back to the zoo by heli- copter Everyone was relieved and then we headed back to town. The night ended with the best reunion party ever. There was a lot of talk of old memories and of the success we had all been having since our graduation We couldn't wait to see what event would bnng us back for our 20 year reunion 10
