I can't believe its 1995. It's been five years since I, Dawn Kucera started my Desperate and Dateless Computer Dating Service and already it has expanded across the ocean and into Europe. As usual my trip to Italy was tiring and I have decided that it's time to go home to Litchfield for a little R and R. As I drove into town everything appeared to be different. I thought I had gotten lost since the sign entering town said Welcome to Sweley-ville. As 1 sat in astonishment 1 realized that little Barry Sweley had gotten his dream come true. 1 looked up the hill where 'ole LHS used to stand so tall and proud, only to see an enormous white building that resembled the White House. As I drove closer to it I realized it was none other than the Sweley Plantation. I decided to go see how ol Bare was doing. I continued up the sidewalk through the rose garden and was nearly run down by a platoon of hogs marching in step. I walked around back to see that their commanding officer was General Brian L. Miller. By the General's side was his ever-faithful coon dawg Louis. We discussed his hog-operation and were abruptly interupted when Louis spotted a coon and they both ran to investigate. In the distance I could hear the famous yelp of his master. I finally made it to the door and whom should greet me but Kristi Schmitz. She is still by Barry's side as his PERSONAL secretary. I asked her what everybody else from the class of '85 was doing. She said that Lynda Vocke was the local psyciatrist and has a successful practice. Since Barry was in the Hot tub entertaining guests, 1 decided to leave and go visit my life-long best friend. Dr. Vocke. I cruised back down the hill in search of the office. I reached the wall to wall carpeted office and waited to see her. Lynda's receptionist said that she was in her daily three hour session with Paula Evans. Just then the door opened and out came Paula. She looked so great that I couldn't believe she was seeing a psyciatrist daily. We talked, but not for long because she had a class to get to. She is still in college. Dr. Vocke explained to me that she was having difficulties deciding on a career. This was causing her life to be a total chaos so she sought the help of her old classmate. Lynda and I decided to meet for a drink later that evening. The afternoon turned out to be longer than planned. I was tired from my plane ride and wanted to go home. As I was leaving town I saw this huge billboard of neon orange that said Keithy Weithy and Sons Polish Construction. I wondered if this could be the one and only Keith Schroll. I mean how many Keithy Weithy's are there in the world! I looked him up and found him working on location on a new Urban development project. Seems that there has been a population increase in ole Sweley-ville. Speaking of population increases, Keith Schroll hasn't done too bad for himself and neither has Kirk Searcey. As I continued on my way home, I met a bunch of kids about four miles out of town running toward Sweley- ville. It was the Searcey family of nine out for an evening jog. Kirk is now Athletic Director of S.H.S. We agreed to get the class together that evening for a little reunion. Later that night at Barry's Beer Bungalow everyone met except for Shelley Cross. Nobody seemed to know what she was doing. The last we heard she was on her way to Hollywood to become a star of the silver screen. All at once there was a big racket on main street. Up pulled a white limosine, out rolled the red carpet and soon we could see the glamorous Ms. Cross. She was on a promotional tour for her new movie and decided to make a stop over at home. Everyone was there with stories of new adventures and old memories. We all had a good time and parted, anxious to see what the next 10 years would bring. 19
