Marching Band In June, the band marched at the Nebraskaland Parade in North Platte, In July, at both Old Settler's parades, in October, in the Harvest of Harmony parade in Grand Island, and the Pony Express Days parade in Gothenburg. A new concept for leadership in marching band was decided upon this year with the instigation of Drum Major and Drum Major- ette. Some members of the band formed a pep band which played at several football and basketball games throughout the year. The pom- pom girls performed routines at the Homecoming game last fall, and for several basketball games dur- ing the season MARCH- ING BAND: FRONT ROW, LEFT TO RIGHT; Gary Feldman, Janet Willoughby. Two sisters try to get their oldest sister married so their old-fashioned father will let them get married. The plot grows funnier as the sisters' older aunt (who is also unmarried) finds a boyfriend. Everyones prob- lem is solved when happy matrimony finds all.
