Ravenna Coast to Coast Ravenna Class Will We, the Senior Class of 70 , Litchfield High School, and the state of Nebraska, being in reasonably good health and of doubtfully sound mind, realizing the uncertainty of grades and the vacillating dispositions of our faculty members, do hereby make this our last will and testament. I, Bob Kieborz, will my ability to stay cool under fire to John Bacus. I, LaVonne Linden, will my ability to stay out of trouble to Nancy Adams. Try it, Nancy; it's fun. I, Roger Evans, will a penny to the poor of L.H.S. I, Mike Gregory, will my ability to fall asleep in class, but never fall out of my chair to John Bacus. Watch out for the bell; it surprises you sometimes. 1, Dan Dale, will my ability to run fast to Dell Tschudin; every bit helps. I, Bob Tesmer, will my ability to play good football to George Kucera. GOOD LUCK, George. I, Ken Wardyn, will my end position to anyone who wants it. I, Dick Wendt, will Jim Criffield a pair of hair clippers; he needs something. I, Patricia Krotz, will my ability to pass Mrs. Hoyt's American History tests to Vicky Brewer. I, Gale Wilson, will my ability to bluff out anyone I want to Joyce Siegel - believe me, she needs it I I, Larry Siegel, will my ability to be a law abiding citizen to Randy Royle. It's cheaper that way. I, Louie Tael, will my ability to get picked up for M.I.P. to Randy Royle. I, Susan Kwiatkowski, will my quietness to Janet Willoughby; try it sometime; it works. 1, Cliff Senff, will my ability to play center to Earl Kramer. I, Dennis Fread, will my ability to keep my eyes on my own paper to Alan Hurt. I, Judy Kucera, will my ability to keep smiling no matter WHAT to Deb Howard. I, Steve Strate, will my ability to go through four years of high school and not become an al- coholic to Rod Rasmussen. I, Dan Smith, will my trim body to Joyce Siegel; every little bit helps. I, Bob Riessland, will a pair of hair clippers to Dean Kwiatkowski. I, Mike Sweley, will my skillful driving ability to Randy Royle. I, Mike Evans, will my ability to be chief cook and bottle washer in the kitchen to Nileta Snow. It'll keep your fingernails clean. I, David Runge, will my shyness to Danny Reitz. The Senior Class of 1970 will our study habits and total dedication to education to the Freshmen of 1971. To the Sophomores of 1971, we will the typewriters. To the Juniors of 1971, we will our ability to put on a good prom. To the Seniors of 1971, we will what's left of L.H.S. MAXINE BREWER Wimberley Presc. Inc. Kearney Hawthorne Jewelry Kearney Norman E. Stephens Loup City Prophecy In the Year 1990, the practice of giving awards in recognition for meritorious service will be so popular that we, the Senior Class of 1970, prophesy that a Citizens Award Academy will be established by a se- lect board of councilmen from the village of Litchfield. Therefore, let us step twenty years into the fu- ture on a momentous occasion when the coveted Trojies are being presented. Senior Citizen Honorable Deadwood Dick Bacus, acting as Master of Ceremonies, receives the sealed envelopes and with great pride reveals the names of award winners. First, to Danny (Dump) Dale, the John Wayne of the Year, goes a Trojie for his demonstration of true grit. Secondly, for her ability to stir the hearts of the Ivy League set goes the Sweetheart of Sigma Chi Award. The winner is Miss Susan Kwiatkowski. Hup, two, three, across the stage marches Master Sergeant Roger Evans to receive his Trojie, carrying on in the same quiet way he had in Government class back in high school. As best Male Actor-of-the-Year in FREDDIE THE FREE LOADER, Bob Kieborz seems actually surprised to be announced a winner. On the merits of a detailed analysis of moon dust collected on his last trip, Larry Siegel modestly ac- cepts a Trojie for his contributions to the knowledge and understanding of Earth's natural satellite, the Moon. In the field of photography, Mike Gregory has established himself as tops by succeeding in having a 10-page color foldout presented in PLAYBOY. For his success in compiling a mini-dictionary Ken Wardyn receives the lexicographer's award. The Cords Corporation who sponsored the Housewife-of-the-Year trophy, submitted their representa- tive, LaVonne Linden, who is the winner of the eighth Trojie to be given. It's not surprising to see the mathematics wizard, Dan Smith, stride masterfully to the rostrum to re- ceive his laurels for devising a short cut to Mars. Will wonders never cease! Dave Runge is named the winner of the Master LoDbyist Award, on the basis of his brilliant speeches in the Senate. Sure enough, that's Steve Strate modestly bowing as he fondles the Trojie given to him for his outstand- ing performances in Nashville where he has out-cashed Johnny Cash for these past twenty years. Success comes in strange packages, it seems, for there is Gale Wilson receiving the King-of-the-Hoboes honor for having sponsored a thirty-thousand dollar dinner without working once tnis year. That nickname STRETCH went a long way. Never has there been a cartoonist to equal Walt Disney until Bob Tesmer came along, and how appro- priate that he should be named the winner of the Walt Disney Trojie. When it comes to analyzing crime, Louis Tael is expected to come out on top for his analysis of the Top Ten Wanted List. Through manipulation of the affairs of the heart and the laws of the land. Bob Riessland successfully manages the milk and beer industries and, thereby, is named Corporation Chief of Beverages. His able assistant Clifford Senff shares this business venture, as overseer of the bottling plants. There’s Dick Wendt who has worked so hard as a Border Patrolman. Sure enough he receives the award for his successes in slowing down the drug traffic, and Mike Sweley, too, is being recognized for his service as a Safety Patrolman. Just as we thought, Pat Krotz is being honored for her star role in LADY OF THE HOUSE. Mike Evans sure hit it lucky on the New York Stock Exchange. His investment returns in I.p.M. sur- passed Billy Sunday's T T Stock. It’s pure luck that gives him this trophy. The prima donna of MADAM BUTTERFLY is none other than Judy Kucera. Oh! How that girl could sing! There's the announcement of the humanitarian award. Dennis Fread is the recipient for his tireless devotion in taking relief to villages in the Mekong Delta. And thus ends our saga of the Trojie Awards Pageant of 1990.
