CLASS HISTORY We, the Class of '45, first Climb!! th! hill to Litchfiehd High School as Fres on with doubt in our minds, but with courage in our hearts. When we enrolled as Freshmen? we numbered twenty eight. However, during our first year we lost four classe matesg VII., Melva Cords, -louise Livingston, Robert Sweley. had Leonard Hazankowski. Our social. life that year consisted of Freshmen Initiation amdthro olass parties. .Mr. Anderson, the history teaoherg and Mr. Rasmussen? the Vocational Ag instructor, v were our sponsors. d As Sophomorea, we Jhose for our sponsor Misa Wright, who left us before the year was finished. Miss Huffman took her place. This year we required the Freshmen to stand trial before being admitted as Hilltoppersa Six of us were chosen to serve at the Junior Senior B3nquet. Mhrilyr Frnndige left us at the end or this year. , y As Juniors we presented 'George In A Jann as our class play. In our estimation it was a howlw ing success. Then came the Junior Senior Banquet, which proved to be very successful because of the help and encouragement given by our sponsor Mrs. LaRue. we lost on Sorensen, John Lang, and Laura and Lorene Hansen during our Junior year. Rose la Johnson moved into our midst, :Aly to leave usrV t the end of the term.
