C ass Prophecy Hello My name IS Wegee I m the guardlan Splflt of the class of 1957 I have just completed my annual check on the class after an absenec of ten years The f1rst classman I came upon w as Charles Anson who always wanted to be self employed He told me he was the head of the Qumcy Products Co jackxe Benjamm was next on the 11st and I found her 1n Detro1t w r1t1ng the gosslp columns for the Free Press She told me I could f1nd a few other classmen at one of the theaters The mam character 1n th1s partrcular play was Marhn Bowers playlng Romeo As I was leav1ng I bumped 1nto Charles Cutler fthe manager of the theater, who was talkmg to Raymond McCutchen and Barry Ferguson They were trymg out for Mutt G jeff parts m a play They told me about Kay Ann DeBray QShe wanted to be the Pres1dent's Lady Q She's not far from xt she IS now chlef secretary at the Whxte House I was mformed that I could f1nd Karl Engqurst 1n Hollywood Karl was always mus1cal mlnded and he IS now one of our famous Night Club S1nger As I made my next stop 1n WISCOHSIH I found Larry Cook He always wanted to be a farmer and I see he IS furmslung vegetables for the A 8 P Markets I found jxm M1ller at Madlson Square who 1S now known as Lusc1ous lim hm told me he IS takmg the spotl1ght from Georgeous George ' 1n the wrestlmg profess1on I m told me that he recently v1s1ted Larry Moore who 15 some tlmes heard Slnglhg Mu1e Tram' to h1s horses wh1le plowlng down xn those Kentucky I-I1lls Karen Magmre 15 also l1v1ng rn Kentucky takrng care of Larry's house and Cluldren Don Hom IS now Professor of Agnculture at M1Ch1g3D State Un1vers1ty I found Joe Elser rn Wyom1ng he must be makmg good money off h1s sheep ranch he IS dr1v1ng around an Austan Do ch n- mach I nged my way to MISSOUII where I found jack Iles had jomed the Army and IS a 30 year man Other classmen who I found serv1ng the1r country are Gaylord Krumvede, Lou1s Masank, and Frank Shepherd These men are Navy men Doug Hurley and john Soper are 1n Texas n the A1r Corps Also rn Texas, I found John Lamm He owns a b1g ranch I have now wmged my way back to lvhchxgan w here I found most of the SCDIOIS Rxchard Ham1lton IS now Dean of Men at the U of M Lo1s Ford, joy Hurley, Pauhne Stratton and V1rg1n1a Jansen have all completed the1r years of College They are all teach1ng rn our local school Lou1s Vmcent now owns a large hardware store 1n L1tch f1eld I see Nancy Nell1gan IS do1ng well she IS teachmg 1n a Ieadmg art school Norma Sheerer IS now head XV3.1tl'ESS at the Arhngton Hotel Max Herendeen IS sellmg u.sed cars Lee Packer IS 1n Lltch fxeld he 15 mak1ng a haul sellmg h1s ten year buslness of collect1ve garbage Sally Wade IS now a well known beaut1 c1an rn town and IS dO1Ug well for herslef Myrtle Sprague IS now runmng a 'Bate shop Ed Sm1th 15 manager of the Detroxt Tlgers Yvonne Qum1by IS now cluef cook for Harold Southwell Elthel Southwell now has her own beauty salon Ethel W1ser IS now man1cur1st 1n her husband, Lynn's barber shop LOUISE Southwell IS now marrxed and l1v1ng overseas wrth her husband who IS 1n the army jerry Naura now owns one of the largest bowllng alleys 1n the world Rlchard Horn and Alton Ferry now operate large dalry farms Charles Heath IS now a collector of old time cars and has Just bought Henry Ford's museum 11m W1lmer IS now a m1n1ster at the Lutheran Church 1n Hrllsdale Smce I have f1n1shed fmdmg all of the SEHIOTS of '57' w1ll s1t back and wa1t for the Semors of 58 and hope you are satusfled wnth my report Sxgnmg off, Weegee QV wr r 6 ,Newt L 9 5 :ef-,Tar VD Acco Aflfuif 22 qnfa 0 Bookkcepu.
