ass Motto nl Ourselves Our Future Lies Class Flower White Carnation Class Colors Green and White Class History We started off our first year of high school with a total enrollment of thirty nine students New faces in the class included Richard Kiersey, Manda Shephard, Jane Minar, Franklin Anson, and Helen Sowles The group was eager to begin their four year voyage through high school together Officers for the first year were elected as follows the President, Leo Kahle, Vice President, Annabelle Traves, Jane Kline, Treasurer, Harriet Hamilton, Secretary, Reporter that year was Marian Crist John Smith and Ardith Wade were the class representatives to the Student Council Activities during the year included bake sales, a class party, sales at games, and dues of Sl OO were charged from each class member At the close of our first year, we had a Our second year of high school was just as interestirmg as the first We elected Charles Nobles to serve as our president, Marlene Wolfinger as our Vice President, Harriet Hamilton as our secretary, and Jane Kline as Treasurer Marian Crist reported the social activities of the class and Jane Minar and John Smith were the representatives to the Student Council Activities included sales at games, a Halloween dance, April Fool's Frolic, and a hayride The high point of the ear was the day that we received our class rings Dues of 2 OO were charged and at the end of the year we had 504 in our class treasury During the year Beverly Baker, Betty Smith, and Helen Sowles moved Our Junior year was an eventful one and one we will all long remember Class officers for the year were President Leo Kahle, Vice President, Annabelle Traves, the Secretary was Harriet Hamilton and Treasurer was Jane Kline Reporter was Ardith Lou Wade and Student Council Representatives were Jane Minar and Jim Wade Highlights of the Junior year were the Junior Play, the J Hop, class hayrides, a big class party, bake sales, paper drives and sales at games At the end of the year we had 51 members ready to begin their Senior year and a treasury of S725 We lost Franklin Anson, Grace McCracken, and Em et Marsh that year We began the last lap of our voyage in the fall of 1950 There were thirty one members enrolled including one new member, Alice Bell Everyone was eager to make their plans for their last year together 49 C1 n on total of 5152.65 ln our treasury. 5 . as
