The success you will have in later life will depend greatly upon the manner in which you have used the time available in preparing yourself for the future. S. looking up my classmates of the class of 1956. l started from the Capitol Airlines Field in Washington, D. C. Before boarding the plane, I went into the Capitol to see Jane Bowman, Barbara Pipes, and Paulette Jones, who are now the under-secretaries of the Secretary of the U. S. While waiting, I found that my pilots were going to be Larry Kline and Donald Cope. After a short chat, l found that both are having a whirl. I left the next morning for New York and visited Mary Jean Turney who is now a very suc- cessful reporter for the Knickerbocker News. One spot that must not be missed in a tour of New York, is the Great Atomic Hospital where I saw Gail Pond, Sandra Larrick, and Clarice Etchison decked in their white nurses' caps. Flo- rence Trail is a dental hygienist at the same hospital. Their success is made possible by the help of Mr. Pierce's chemistry class. On Wall Street, I entered a large office building. The wall directory listed a secretary pool including these former classmates: Martha Condon, June Carpenter, Gail Wolsh, Joanne Mullins, Gladys Day, Bertha Reed, and Yvonne Taylor. I then boarded the plane at La Guardia and Larry and Donald piloted me to Badly Beat, Texas, where I went horseback riding on the large cattle ranch, The Crooked G, owned by George Bowman. He told me that Robert Flynn owns an equally large ranch, The Rusty R, 9' and that James Hill is being The Dairy King of Texas, because of his herd of prize-winning dairy cattle. I boarded the plane again, heading home. After landing in D.C. , I got in my car and drove to Poplar Springs and visited John Flemi.ng's Carpenter Shop. He told me that Leon Simms is an I. B. M. Operator in Washington and that James Sweep is away at College. From Poplar Springs I went to Damascus to chat with Shirley Johnson, now Mrs. Wm. Du- vall. I learned from her that Patricia Johnson is an Engineer in Washington. She also said that Jo Ann Woizesko is a social worker for an agency in Baltimore and Patsy Warfield is now em- ployed at Spring Grove Hospital. Her friend Brenda Gunther is still with the U. S. Waves. On my way back to D. C. , I stopped at Lisbon High School and found Charlotte Fowble, teaching music to a contented group of youngsters. Hurrying home, I was stopped by a State Trooper. Much to my surprise, I found that he was none other than Paul Embrey. I, arrived just in time to go to the evening services at church, and found the guest speaker to be Rev. Alwyn Campbell. After returning home, I found two letters waiting for me. They were from Barbara Ever- hart fMrs. I ack Branchj and Helen Rippeon QMrs. James Thomasj. They are busy making their families happy. I can hardly believe that eight years ago we were sitting in good I. H. S. wondering what we would be doing in the future. The past eight years have been prosperous and happy ones for us all. Well, now that lhave seen all my classmates, I must get back to my work in the Central Intelligence Agency because my dream also came true.
