Y, Bison Darren Henrie gives it all he’s got as he slams this one home during the Tusculum Homecoming game. Before Brigadoon disappears for another hundred years, Fiona (Terri Schott) and Tommy (Bobby Ray) declare their love for each other in the Homecoming musical. Lipscomb’s concert band plays as the queen and court enter during the coronation ceremony. P.P.P.P.P. members old and new sing to keep us laughing as always. Rush Holladay, Stephanie Dixon, and Nikki Holladay are all smiles after Harolyn Brasher is crowned queen by President Hazelip. Homecoming Above photo by Rudy Sanders All other photos by Tim Gilfilen

WHAT IS Plays, Singarama, studying in the library, eating in the Bison Room, and attending chapel. These are only a few of the things we do as students and faculty of David Lipscomb College. Campus Life includes every- thing and everyone. Whether it’s curling up in a blanket in your dorm room watching ‘Moon- lighting” or doing the “Bison rumble” at the basketball game, everyone has an individual part in Campus Life. The things we do to create the memories, the friendships we ac- quire along the way, these are the things that make life at David Lipscomb College special. You can live in the dorm, the ghetto, or home with Mom and Dad, but you're still a part of the life at Lipscomb. That is, if you choose to be. You can be your own person, do your own thing. It’s no secret the activities we are involved in on campus, work together with our studies to make us well-rounded individuals. Combining individ- ualism in a group effort — the secret to success.

Ccbbrtion 87 The weekend of November 14 was a special one for David Lipscomb College. The students and faculty spent weeks in preparation for the weekend’s events. In conjunction with Homecoming, the ASA organized “Celebration ‘87,’ which included “Bisonfest’’ on Friday and the Homecoming | festivities on Saturday. Friday, November 13, students were released from afternoon classes to crowd into Bison Square for a variety of attractions, including musical | entertainment, costumed social clubs, and free food. During ‘“Bisonfest,” ASA | Vice President Lee Camp, dressed in a purple wig as one OF the PY? P.P.P., introduced Frank Bennett, coach of the Lady Bisons, who in turn introduced his squad. Also introduced was Don Meyer | and his squad. Then the cheerleaders picked out each social club to perform chants that supported their theme in a Bison Square pep rally. The musical Brigadoon was presented Thursday through Saturday nights. With hauntingly beautiful songs -and gorgeous sets, Brigadoon -moved audiences every night. The show was highlighted by exciting performances by Lipscomb students. Continued on page 10. Photo by Tim Gilfilen Homecoming
