26 Director Of The National Development Board Mack Wayne Craig is the Director of the National Development Board. The Board consists of seventeen men and women who have pledged to raise money for David Lipscomb. The Board meets four times a year and each member serves for a five year term. Craig sees the possibilities for growth as unlimited. The present goal of the National Development Board is to help Lipscomb raise its endowment to $30 million by 1991. Assistant Vice President For Institutional Planning Jacky Ray Davis, the Assistant Vice President for Institutional Planning, aids Steve Flatt in carrying out the plans for growth and outreach to businesses. Heading the Business Advisory Council, he is instrumental in getting prominent business leaders to speak at seminars and helps raise money to reach the budget. Assistant Vice President For Campus Affairs Richard Jones, serving as Director of the Campus School and Assistant Vice President for Campus Affairs, works with Dr. McKelvey in setting the direction for the Campus School within the framework of the overall efforts of Lipscomb. He also seeks to increase unity and bridge gaps between divisions of the campus school. Administrative Assistant To The Vice President For Campus Affairs Administrative Assistant to the Vice President for Campus Affairs is Jonathon Seamon. He aids Richard Jones and supervises housing situations on and off campus.

H : PS Se oteve Flatt Steve Flatt, the Vice President for Institutional Planning, works as the head of the planning committee for the college and is also responsible for all fund raising. He also works to increase Lipscomb’s public image and keeps in touch with alumni. The Development Office is under Dr. Flatt’s supervision. Cliett (Goodpasture As Vice President for Business Affairs, Cliett Goodpasture coordinates the total business operations for Lipscomb's kindergarten through graduate program. He is responsible for plant operation and maintenance, for purchasing for the college, for student accounts, and for payroll. He is also in charge of all auxiliary enterprises of the college such as the dorms, post office, bookstore, duplication services, and food services. 25

She coordinates all responsibilities of the president's office, including appointments and appearances by brother Collins, and serves as liaison between DLC and the Associated Ladies for Lipscomb. Administration Secretaries Secretaries for the Vice President for Campus Affairs, Director of National Development Board, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and the President, respectively, are: Shirley Stansbury, Fay Jenkins, Mary Emily Gore, and Corine Jackson, who also serves as copy-editor for all publications coming from Lipscomb. 27
