Both of them are members of the Student Affairs Committee and are advisors for the Interclub Council and the All Student Association. Teaching in the English Department, Loyd also busies him- self as Singarama coordinator and The Babbler Sponsor. He is in charge of the men head residents, security, and entertain- ment. Dean Gamble, in charge of the women head residents, the nurse clinic, and the cheerleaders, teaches one of the most popular classes on campus, “Adventures in Christian Living,” for the Psychology Department. Whatever they’re up to, Dean Loyd and Dean Gamble are doing good jobs with the able assistance of our own Mary Proctor. SARA K. GAMBLE Assistant Dean Of Students ADMINISTRATION 18

EARL DENNIS Vice-President for Academic Affairs When the reorganization of the adminstration took place, Dr. Earl Dennis was appointed academic dean. Although re- luctant, he accepted the job on a temporary basis only — just until a permanent dean could be found. Well, during the fall quarter a permanent dean was found — his name, Dr. Earl Dennis. Dennis was appointed Vice-President for Academic Affairs in November of 1978. This job has presented many new challenges to Dr. Dennis which he has met with determination and has proven himself to be a positive choice for the position. His added responsibil- ities have limited his teaching in the Mathematics Department but broadened his relationships with those students who had not been privileged to associate with him earlier. The subtrac- tion of a full time teacher in the Math Department has consti- tuted the addition of a full time friend in the administraiton. Bia. VETERANS ¢ =m BLIGIBLE SP spe 17
