Hunt Elam Hall Ruth Gleaves Johnson Hall Boarding students live in four dormitories: Sewell Hall for fresh- man women; Johnson Hall for upperclass women; and Elam Hall, a double dormitory, with one wing for freshmen and the other for upperclass men. Johnson Hall and the second part of Elam Hall were completed in 1948. The supervision of the dormitories is a service that involves a tremendous amount of responsibility and is sometimes accepted without the proper appreciation; however, Lipscomb is fortunate in having good supervisors.
