E Eleanor Klemm spent one brief year at Nott Terrace High School before we all moved to Linton in 1957. Her gracious- ness, unfailing sense of humor, her integrity and quiet wisdom have lent a dimension to the language department which will be difficult to replace. How her classes have benefited from her nu- merous trips, not only to Germany but to many other faraway places! With a remarkable zest for life, an insatiable curiosity for new adventures and a genuine concern for people, retire- ment for her will afford an opportunity to continue her wide interest in further travel. c'Auf wiedersehni' and HMay the road rise to meet you . . F, Ever since the day that Linton High School opened, when people thought of mathematics, they thought of David Kroman. This June marks his retirement from teach- ing, and his former students will attest to the fact that the vacancy will be hard to fill. Mr. Kroman,s career in Schenectady City Schools spans thirty-three years, starting at Central Park Junior High, then Mont Pleasant, followed by Nott Terrace and finally Linton. All teachers establish a reputation, and Mr. Kroman is no exception. Those of us who have known him well, know him as a master of his field and one who sets equally high goals for his students. We know that retirement for Mr. Kroman really means that he will turn his atten- tion to new endeavors, and in all of these we wish him well. 209
