awww' L .M-W, -as Z, BE THE BEST? When we first started taking machine shop in our Junior year we didn't realize that there were so many different fields that we could enter into. In machine shop we learn to work with machines such as: lathes, milling machines, and drill presses. We also learn how to use precision measuring tools, layout tools, and bench tools. Some of the work involves trigonometry, special formulas and the different types of metals. Some of the job openings after you graduate from the Trade Machine Course are: machinist, layout man, or machine operator. After you graduate you can go on to higher learning through college, General Electric Apprentice Courses. When we are attempting a new operation and the job comes out perfect, we feel a sense of pride, and we feel good inside. - George Baranauskas Tony Amiccuci Mike Richards I

BGCES I'm taking electronic courses now to learn the basics and have a little experience. Right now you can tell that the future is going to depend entirely on electricity. There will be electric cars to be fixed, computers to be built, and household appliances to be repaired. The pay will be good fas a skilled electronic technicianj about eight to ten dollars an hour. Here in shop you learn about resistors, generators, housewiring, and solving series and parallel circuits. If you have a little skill for electricity, take one period of this course, and, who knows, maybe you,ll turn out to be another Albert Einstein. - Gary Pyzanowski
