BGCES Our students are, in one sense, more stable and conservative because they have focused on a goal that is much closer to them than those students who may go on to a 2 or 4 year college. Our students are placed in jobs commensurate with their abilities in fields or allied fields in which they have been trained. A large number of our graduates go into the armed forces training schools or to community colleges. Some students continue their education in Apprenticeships. Our teachers are from industry and obtained their degrees for teaching after being employed. This is necessary to hold the industrial concepts before the students at all times. The Linton BOCES Program is big, and, in my opinion, one of the best in the state. - Mr. Roy Larson Assistant Principal BOCES Department 108 Mr. Whittingham Mr. Bartlett ,ffl A ,V . ie, K at i by L. BGCES I'm taking electronic courses now to learn the basics and have a little experience. Right now you can tell that the future is going to depend entirely on electricity. There will be electric cars to be fixed, computers to be built, and household appliances to be repaired. The pay will be good fas a skilled electronic technicianj about eight to ten dollars an hour. Here in shop you learn about resistors, generators, housewiring, and solving series and parallel circuits. If you have a little skill for electricity, take one period of this course, and, who knows, maybe you,ll turn out to be another Albert Einstein. - Gary Pyzanowski
