AT ThaT Time iT was a children's haven oT woods, swamps, and wildTlowers. There we would build TorTs, caTch Trogs, or simply wallc in a world ThaT was ours, ThaT we could undersTand. ln iunior high our needs were some- whaT diTTerenT. More and more we came To use The Tields on The oTher side oT The woods To play baseball. The wisdom oT our choice can be seen Trom The TacT ThaT These same Tields are now being used Tor aThleTics aT l.inTon. Perhaps we noTiced The sign ThaT said, Planned SiTe Tor New Lin- Ton l-ligh School . T-leedlessly we wenT on wiTh our play. Then a Tremendous change Toolc place. Bulldozers desTroyed The woods. ln Their place briclc walls arose. An ulTramodern high school now sTands Tor our use. The Plaza woods have changed, buT we have changed wiTh Them. We have grown up.
