We seem to enjoy it so much more, everifie have to take time out to play, The Sunday Evening Club in- vited us to play for them a second time, November l7, we were invited to plaf for a football game fat' North Manchester Colleges Chl but it vas cold, On December 18, We had a mixed concert with the band, chorus, and grade school. February 9, we had a wonderful time wor- king with all the schools in the county for the County Band Festival. March 29, aame the turnout at Forthayne for the state contest, For solos and quartetsn The solos were: Joan Burwell fpianoa, Tom Bracken Qpianol, and Dean Eppley,CBaritone.l Our quartets were: Miriam Eppley, Carol Denny, Bill Rife, and Julia Shillinger , Qsaxophoneb, Emily Kirkpatrick, Marilyn Garrison, Lor- ene Jamerson, and Lois Tyner Chornb, Constance Clark, Delores Roser, John Dale, and Tom Bracken, Colarinetf. At the District Band Contest at Nappanee, we carried off a blue ribbon. On April l9, we found ourselves at North Manchester, again we carried off one of the blue T1bb0DS at the Siate Cihtest. Y

Third Rows Donald Wilson, Robert Smith, Robert Winters, Rex Neilson, and Robert Van Camp. Girls Our first appearance of the year was in October when we were chosen to sing at the P. T. A. meeting. Several selec- tions were given. . Mixed Chorus The mixed chorus participated in the Christmas Conisrt, December 18. The program was held in our High School Gyms We feel, sure that our efforts were appreciated by all who attended. March 19, was a big event for our chorus and we spent much time practicing for it--puThe Wabash County' Choral Festivalen The program consisted of eight numbers by the girlsg two by the boys, and semen by the mixed ehous. We fee1.that the Festival was a great success. We nowfdraw our schoo1.year to a close by having the honor of taking part in the graduation exercises-
