NEVIN MURPHY is ireeuper- ating from severe injuries received in a wreck while participating in the fam- ous Cross Country Speed Race. The wreck was caused when his scarf blew into his face and blinded him. He hit a tree. Miss BETTY MCELWEE, the famous chemist, has taken a trip to Arizona to regain her health. She was injur- ed by an explosion occuring during one of her experi- ments.
