Other officers were Elwyn Swearingen, vice presidentg Joyce Jones, secretaryg Byrd Koesling, Treasurer: Dale Johnson, class representative: and Florence Cardwell, activity manager. Dr. Terrill was chosen as class adviser. In 'the fall, the sophomores, with the memories of being freshmen still fresh in their minds, show- ed their superior strength by pulling the rooks in to the Cozine in the annual tug-o-war.
