EXECUTIVE COUNCIL Witlu the responsibility of student finances and activities concerning the whole school, this rep- resentative governing body had its nose to the well-known grindstone all year and came out on top with an outstanding record. Meeting every week, all problems were brought to the floor as the infallible mem' bers of the council tore out their hair and gnawed their fingers, seeking to find solutions to the com- plexities of student government, Composed of the officers, representatives of all major departments, edi- tors and managers of publications, and the president and representative of each class, this group func- tioned as a definite democratic organization. ' Much credit for the success of the year goes to President Norman Goss whorwas assisted by Marian Vifiester, vice president: Mary Lou Mac Lean, secretaryg and Barbara Reik, general manager. The Oak Leaves adds a word of thanks and recognition, in passing, to these who have worked so hard to uphold the traditions and spirit which truly make Linfield College. - 1 1 2 s.. t c...,W,,,,g.N, .,. 3 ,rf ...KW ,,, ,f ,K f A, t' Ax -all f'f' mg - ooto nwamzvw c. .- N A- ff W X- f ,Q , . ,, 'i e V ivy' '11-rfccffstsss ' , WH 'ff , ' it i -' ' .,f ra.
