Johnson Jones Dunwiddie FRESHMAN CLASS Outstanding in his leadership, Dale Johnson with Roberta Jordahl, vice presi- dent: Joyce Jones, secretary: and Margaret Dunwiddie, class representative carried out an active and successful year. Class Mamma and Pappa, Rosa Bishop and Roy Cyr respectively, helped to set the class off on the right foot which eminated with an all frosh talent night. Through the year, the class of the '48 entertained the various classes and the faculty besides having their own Backwards party in the school gym. The Traditional Homecoming bonfire was once more seen in all its glory thanks to the ambitions of the class Qand the relenting of the war departmentj. Although defeated in the annual tug-o-war, the class showed a typical Linfield spirit which never once died through the year. Highlighting the year, on April 6th, the Fresh- man Class took over the student body offices and ruled the campus for the day. The 'AAttainment Day was entrusted to John Giltner, president: Tuffy Swearingen, vice president: Ella Mae Lathrop, secretary: and Margaret Marks, editor of the, The Observatory. - .Jehu-A Mr. Beard Advisor 1 27 1 l .
