Lent, D. Sheppelmann, E. Mclvlillin, I. Koenig, A, Davis. This year our F. H. A. was especially busy. After preparing refreshments for the Harvest Hop, we sponsored our annual money-making project, the Sadie Hawkins Dance, in November. We prepared refreshments for the Snowball and the Blossom Ball also. In October we attended the regional F. H. A. meeting at Oil City, and in Ianuary we sent fourteen girls to the Farm Show. The local cherry pie contest held in january was won by Sophie Urbanick with Elaine Uzarski as runner up. In May we held our annual Mother-Daughter Banquet, which proved to be a huge success. Our year ended with a style show in which the girls modeled their garments. A trip to State College for the State F. H. A. Convention followed in June.

Lance The Future Farmers of America, or F. F. A. , is a national organization of farm boys stydying Vocational Agriculture. It is an educational, non-profit, non-political organi- zation of volunteer members of which there are nearly 400,000. The foundation upon which it is built includes leadership, co-operation, service , thrift, scholarship im- provement, agriculture, citizenship, and patriotism. Each student of Vocational Agriculture who wishes to join the local F.. P. A. Chapter may do so by meeting the qualifications of the Creenhand degree. Kitchen. s I I I u I The Mixed Chorus consisting of 72 members, 27 Sopranos, 23 altos, 9 tenors and 13 basses, sang in the Christmas assembly program, participated in the Srlrlual SDTAHQ Music Festival, and presented two combined concerts with the Conneaut Lake Area High School Mixed Chorus. Five members sang in the Northwestern District Chorus Festival at Cochranton, and Donald Mackay sang in the All-State Chorus Festival at Washington, Pennsylvania.
