The membership of Chapter 1095 is composed of the students who are taking two or more business subjects. The purpose of the club is to extend to the students taking the commercial course an understanding of business leadership. It also makes them realize the necessity and importance of accepting responsibility and becoming more efficient and co-operative. During the year, the club sold Christmas tags, and Basketball pins, sponsored a cake walk , and had a clothing drive for the Hungarian War Relief. The students, also, do office work for some of the community organizations , which helps them to establish more realistic stenographic goals. I I

Iames, N. Wygle. I The Tri-Hi-Y has been slightly handicapped this year by the absence of our advisor , Mrs. Barackman. Mr. Abercrombie has given us much of his valuable time, however, and we have made several accomplishments. Four members of our club attended a meeting of this district in Meadville this fall. Plans were made for the mock U. N. Assembly to be held in Harrisburg in March. Ianet Anderson and Prannie Ewing will represent Linesville at this event. ln order to raise money to keep our club operating, we have planned several money- making projects, some of which are as follows: bake sales, dances, selling various small items , and others to be carried out in the spring. The hi-light of our club each year is the inspiring induction service, which was held in the cafeteria this year.
