The Iunior Class , as does every Iunior Class, has an ultimate goal to attain by the merry month of May--the Iunior-Senior Prom. To attain this goal, we have been working very hard and will continue to do so under the able guidance of our class advisors , Miss Pringle and Mr. Poux. We sponsored various activities during the first semester including a bake sale, movie, skating partyy and a new idea, selling L.C.S. crew hats and beanies. All of these events were successful as a result of the class co-operation. In the future, we will continue to sponsor class activities , among which will be an Easter-egg hunt, an activity which has heretofore not been attempted in this school. Other future activities will include selling cards, another bake sale, a skating party: and, of course, the Iunior Class Play. We hope that by these activities we shall have attained our goal for this year and, in addition, have a considerable balance in our financial account to carry over into our Senior year. Compliments Of McQUISTON'S ASHLAND

If you are looking for a group of active students who are leaving their mark in Linesville High's history, this year's Sophomores fill the bill. With the help of our advisors, Mr. Krantz and Mr. Keefer, we accomplished our first big event of the year, The Harvest Hop. There was a committee elected to investigate money-making projects. At their suggestions , We held a dance after one of the basket- ball games, and we made a good profit by selling gas and oil at the Corner Service Center Station. Although athletics are high on our list of accomplishments , our class is well repre- sented in almost every school activity.
