Y I 7 . ,whim ...N I8 RICHARD IAMES BILL IRWIN Illess II IlB111Il Chorus 1,2,3,4. Band 1,2,3,4 F. P. A. l,2,3,4 Class History In September, 1944, three groups of unsuspecting children walked up the steps of Linesville , Graham, and Harmonsburg schools , not knowing what lay ahead of them. Six years later, with a better understanding of what was expected of them they entered their first year in Iunior High and met, as a class, for the first time. As Freshmen theylentered the shabby, but steadfast doors of Linesville High School for the last year in that building. Studies were interspersed with money raising pro- jects, movies, bake sales, and skating parties. The fall of 1954 was excitingly different as the group sponsored the Harvest Hop, the first big dance in our new school. Miss Pringle, Mr. Welsh, and Mr. Fargo met the group as advisors during the Junior year. A play Stranger In The Night , was presented and provided entertainment for the community. With the help of our advisors we accomplished the big, but beautiful, task of presenting the junior-Senior Prom. With only 60 of our original group, we began our exciting Senior year in the fall of '56, Everyone became quite excited learning that we would go to Washington if we could raise enough money. So with a very flat bankroll we got down to business to prove we could do it if we wanted. Our Senior play, We Shook The Fam.ily Tree , was one of the most successful plays ever presented and made us quite proud. Along with the play, Christmas cards, taffy, bake sales, movies , and the yearbook, we began to really plan for our trip and our last days as a class together. After returning from Washington May 23, we began to prepare for Baccalaureate and Commencement with regret and, yet, with anticipation.
