Presidentls Message As the new President of Lindsey Wilson College, I am proud to have been one of her students. Perhaps I can better identify with your hopes, dreams, and frustrations, because it doesn't seem long since I sat where you now sit? I was honored to have been made a Trustee of this college, and I served in that capacity with pleasure until I was given an Administrative position. Through the years I have en- joyed her accomplishments and suffered in her disappointments. All of us who love Lindsey Wilson can take pride in her dedicated faculty and her distinguished alumni. This has been a busy and an enjoyable year. Although We have had a decrease in enroll- ment, the faculty feels we have an unusually fine student body. The economic determinist maintains that the idea of education is to teach self to serve selfg but the Christian teacher believes that the idea of education is to teach self to serve God and mankind. There was never a time when the world was so badly in need of un- selfish service. I believe you and your generation are ready to fulfill this need. L. Rodford McDonald
