Actually each i'teenfager is a distinctly individual personality. The changing com- plex of tasks, talents, ambitions, and enio- tions makes school life intensely variable and interesting. Truthfully We can say that each school year is a non-repeating pat- tern of work, defeat, accomplishment, and triumph. A teacher's work is therefore never humdrum or repetitious. The school year l95l-52 can never fade completely in our memories as long as we have this fine book, the result of many hours of painstaking Work, perseverence, and artistic achievement. Thanks to you, Comet Staff, for a job Well done. C. A. CASTLE Superintendent Page I0

Teen-agers? No, the word is not in my dictionary. I looked, but they are in my heart and much a part of my lite. In fact, I see no one but teen-agers day in and out. That's the way I like it. I wouldn't have it other-- wise. And who are these teeneagers who give so much lite and color, vigor and vision to our school and community? The word has become synonymous with high school and those who go there, Every campus swarms L with them either as they wander two by two or gather in groups of twenty and titty, and they always seem to radiate taith in the pres- ent and hope for the future. II I had but one wish granted to me A teen-ager again I surely would be. But ol course you all know and can easily seo I am next to and kin of this lite full and tree. ZAFON A. HARTMAN, Principal.
