F orewom' These are our lives. The tale they tell is that of cram sessions, jam sessions, and examination blues, of moments filled with madness, gladness, and sadness. These moments are all vivid and individual. The moments of madness are in counter-balance with those of sincere dedication to the belief which is basic to most of us at Lindley, the belief that at Lindley, we grow in depth, beauty, mind, and soul. The moments of gladness, out of necessity of equilibrium, are in counter-balance with those of sadness, sadness which comes when we have realized the potential of ourselves and of our school and have failed to equal it. This is a story, nonetheless, that tells no less of hopes held fast, of dreams possessed, of yeamings pursued. Above all, it is a chronicle of a quest, of a ceaseless search for heighth and depth and wideness. From such stuff has been forged life at the Lindley we know and love.
