Dmmatics Club Although the Dramatics Club has been at Lindley Jr. High for only one year, it has accomplished a great deal. It has from forty to fifty members, made up of seventh, eighth and ninth graders. The club has been very active throughout the school year. They presented a successful one-act drama titled Vacation On The Moon to the Lindley P.T.A. during American Education Week. The dramatics group also had a money-raising projects, sponsoring a soc-hop in January which was most successful, One of the biggest undertaking by any club was accomplished most professionally by this group, the presentation of the play, The Glass Menagerie . The Student Council lets pupils exercise the right of participating in the governing of the fellow stu- dents by placing decision-making practices as to codes of ethical behavior as much in the hands of the students as is feasibly pos- sible. The Student Council sponsors many activities such as the Christmas Dance, Slave Day , and other such activities, both social and governmental, as it is necessary and desirable for the continuing of the councils role in the life of the school.
