MUSIC DEPARTME T in 4 Mr. Braswell Mr. Braswell has been learning and perform- ing music since he was five years old. Besides being an accomplished musician himself, he gives private lessons in voice, piano, and guitar. Affectionately known as MR. B , he is re- spected and liked by nearly all his students, despite his high standards in music. He spends most of his time with his students, whether it's teaching English or Choral or working on the annual staff . A very well ed- ucated man, he takes pride in his beliefs and actions. Mr. B likes music of all types, and is a great perfectionist in English as well as Choral. His many different moods and changing character make him very popular among all of his students He is a man whom all of his students will remember for a long time as a teacher, friend, and advisor. Ricky Wright , No, students, the figure which you Demse Duncan are gazing upon is not Mr. B . It Anything from arpeggio's to the Little Drummer is Ricky Wright who assists in the Boy may be heard resounding from the iano as the - - , P directing of the Chorus. accompanist, Denise Duncan, performs her duties, under the guidance of Mr. Braswell, the Choral teacher. 28

Miss Jay es-.. Mr. Dillard Mr. Dillard was born in Sylva, North Carolina. He 'X graduated from Western Carolina College and ma- ' jored in math. His favorite hobby is fishing and he 's an avid sports fan. Miss Jay is a modern math teacher. She is also the Var- sity Cheerleaders sponsor. She is loved by all, her cheerleaders, and the members of the Pep Club, which SHE organized. I Mrs. Clark Mrs. Clark has taught Algebra here at Lindley for two years. She is one of the students favorite teachers, also she is a devoted algebra teacher, and also the wife of a Methodist minister. Mr. Howle Mr. Howle often referred to as the JOLLY GREEN GIANT , is one of the eighth grade math teachers here at Lindley. He has been with us for two years and has seemed to have enjoyed every minute of it. 27
