Lindenwood students will long remember Mr. Gillis insight into the problems facing us today, and his knack for genuine humor. Brief remarks were also made by student leaders from Washington University, St. Louis University, Westminster College, and Lindenwood. g'The New Student was well re- ceived, and set a tenor of excitement for the entire day. A beautiful Buffet luncheon, complete with smoked oysters and Swedish meatballs, was served for all inaugural delegates and guests. Caterers, Chefs, and excellent food gave a special flair of im- portance to what is usually termed Hinstitutional foodf' A reception immediately following the In- augural service afforded Lindenwood students and delegates an opportunity to become acquainted with each other, and to personally give congratulations to Dr. and Mrs. Brown.
