A modern building was added to the College in 1957 with the completion of the new Chapel and St. Charles Presbyterian Church. Weekly chapel and vesper services, at which the Lindenwood College Choir sings, are led by representative members of the com- munity and by guest speakers. The Chapel's Fellowship Hall is the scene of many College dinners, as well as presentations of theater-in-the-round. LINDENWOOD CHAPEL

In 1939, the Fine Arts Building became part of the Lindenwood campus, in memory of a past dean and wife of President Roemer. Most of the freshmen live in Niccolls Hall, which was built in 1916 in memory of The Reverend Samuel ,lack Niccolls, D.D., by his friend, Colonel James Gay Butler.
