They won its beet form toward the end of the season. Had the Panthers played this brand of ball all year, they would have had quite a few more wins. The Panthers looked their best in their first game of the District Class A Tourna- ment. They defeated West 52 to 38. Then they lost their second game in the Tournament to Central. The team looked its worst while The squad this year had by far the best ball team at McKinley. The team finished in and losing 7. McKinley grabbed its share of honors on taking defeats from Central and East. 'team spirit' of any other previous basket- fifth place in the city league, winning 5 the All-City High teams. Dick Housum was named forward birth on two first teams, and forward on one second team. Eddie Zoog was honored with a first team and second team center position. bill Barney and Buddy Brock- man received honorable mention as guards.
