This was the first of eight games in which the Tiger offense produced three or more touchdowns. R. Charleston and D. Ayers turn a razzle dazzle reverse into a five-yard Atlanta loss. With B. Vise holding, K. Cur- rie attempts a three pointer against charging Roughnecks from White Oak. - QUITMAN - In their final non-district encounter, 5x the Tigers combined a stingy defense and an explosive offense to completely shut out the highly- touted Bulldogs 21-0. However, taking the second half kickoff, the Tigers drove downfield for the games only score and claimed a sea- son-opening victory over the Bull- dogs. The alert Tiger secondary moves in on a Rabbit receiver. - ATLANTA W- The season's second outing saw the Tigers take a 6-0 lead after a very hard-fought first half. But seven turnovers in the second half spelled doom for the visitors from L-K, as the eventual undefeated 7-AAA champs handed them their only loss of the regular season. B. - DEKALB - The Tigers got off to a roaring start in district play by demolishing the defending champion Bears. After a sluggish first half L-K racked up three touchdowns enroute to their first victory over Dekalb in four years. As Season Wears On. 'ny. 'i!fn.Q1' 1 Tiger defense showsjubilation after halting Hughes Springs inches short of a crucial first down. fi 4,14 If D. .Iiles eyes his prey while shaking off a would-be blocker. - PITTSBURG a L-K went into the game knowing it would be a tough one, and indeed it was. Going into the dressing room at the half down I6-7, things looked pretty bleak. But the Tigers came out the 3rd quarter a different team and ended up taking home a sweet 21-16 victory. E.
