In '78 Hall of Fame MICHELLE HALL, Tiger majorette, has been a majorette for the past two years. She was a member of the Student Council for one year and has been involved in DECA for the past two years. She has also been a DECA offi- cer for two years, this year serving as secretary. She has been a member of the Paper Staff acting as reporter. She was a Band officer for two years, a member of the All-District band for four years, and a member of the Four- States Band one year. ' KIP CURRIE, Annual Staff Sports Editor, has worked on the staff for the past two years. He was a member of the National Honor Society for 2 years, Science Club one year, where he served as Vice President. He was a member of the Student Council for 2 years, where he was also Vice Presi- dent. He has been on the track team one year, basketball team 4 years, and football team 4 years. He has been on the All District football team 3 years, the All-Four States Area team one year, All-Cypress Valley 2 years, and was voted All-Northeast Texas Soph. of the Year. He was voted to the Sen- ior Whols Who as Most Intelligent and Most Likely to Succeed. TONI CATES, DECA President, has been active in the organization for the last two years. As a Junior she served as the Vice President and com- peted in the Area Contest. She was Paper Staff Art Editor and Feature Edi- tor. She was elected Freshman class Reporter and Junior class Reporter. She was a member of the Science Club one year, National Honor Society, and an All-District Band member 2 years. This year she was chosen as a Homecoming Queen nominee and Co-Basketball Sweetheart. She has been a band member for 5 years sewing as Librarian 2 years and Secretary 2 years. .S

Fourteen Seniors DAVID AYERS, Student Council President, has been a member of the Council for 3 years, a member of the Science Club l year, and the French Club l year where he served as an officer. He was a member of the Annual Staff for two years serving as photographer. He was class secretary his sophomore year. He was a 2 .year letterman in track and 3 years in football. This year he served as a Tiger Captain. In football he was voted All-District fHon. Mentj, Offense and Defense as a Junior, All-District and All Cypress Valley fHon. Ment.J as a Senior. The Seniors also voted him Most Talented and Wittiest. JEANNE MCMINN, Tiger Cheerleader, has been a cheerleader for the past 3 years. She has been a member of the Library Club for 3 years, National Honor Society two years, Science Club one year, Student Council 3 years, and the Paper Staff two years. This year she serves as Co-Editor of the paper. She was Reporter for the Freshman Class. As a Junior she was elected FFA Sweetheart and won the 4-States FFA Sweetheart's Contest. She was a Homecoming Queen nominee this year and was chosen to the Senior Who,s Who as Cutest. LARRY YOUNG, a Captain of the Tiger football team, has been a 4 year letterman in football, basketball, and track. He participated in the State Track Meet his Sophomore year. He was chosen to the All-District Basket- ball team the same year. His Junior year he was selected to the lst team All- District in basketball. As a Senior he was All-District, All Four States Area, and All-State in football.

HaII Of Fame Shows Qualities Cf CLIFFORD GARDNER, Senior class Reporter, was selected to the Senior Whols Who as Friendliest and also as Wittiest. This year he was elected to the All-District football team as an Hon. Ment. Offensive Back. He was a three year letterman in football and also lettered in basketball. He was among the top five in Northeast Texas in the pole vault for the past two years. He also holds the school record in pole vault RHONDA ALLEN, Tiger Head Cheerleader, has been a cheerleader for the past 2 years. This year she was elected Homecoming Queen and Foot- ball Sweetheart. She played volleyball 4 years, was All District 3 years, and MVP her Sophomore year. She was a member of the Library Club, Science Club 2 years, Student Council 2 years, where she served as Treasurer, National Honor Society 2 years where she served as Secretary. She was a member of the Annual Staff for 2 years and served as Business Manager. She was also Bus. Manager of the Paper Staff. She was Soph. Class Presi- dent, and Junior and Senior class Treasurer. She was voted to Senior Who,s Who as Friendliest and Most Athletic. STEVE CONLEY, Senior class President, has lettered in basketball 3 years, baseball 4 years, and football 2 years. He was a member of the Sci- ence Club and was selected as a delegate to the American Legion Boys' State. He was selected to the All-District baseball team CHon. Ment.J as a Sophomore, and was again picked to the All-District baseball team as a pitcher. He was All-District in basketball and also was chosen to the All State Tournament Team and Coaches All State 3rd Team in basketball.
