The Queen And Her Cour HOMECOMING QUEEN Teresa Dubois Teresa is very involved in school activities. She is very athletic, but she is best known for her talents as an artist. W6,1'6 The On e Eagles Capture G.E.C. Crown At the beginning of the 1980 football season, many people were critical of the new coach- ing staff, especially after a loss to rival Fenton. But as the sea- son went on the team gained momentum and won their last four games including state ranked Hamady. The 1981 season opened with a great deal of enthusiasm as the Eagles trounced rival Fen- ton by a 41-13 score. Soon after- wards the team was rated 5th in the state, and went on to win 11 straight games over a two year period. Falling to Montrose by a 20-25 score, crushed the Ea- gles hope of a perfect season. With one game left the seniors gathered up their pride to crush Hamady 40-0! Our gridders finished as Co- Champions in the G.E.C. and once again had the ifl defense and improved their offense to rank ifl also. The Eagle secondary which picked off a record 22 passes in 80, again had a great year with 19. The running backs each had an equal chance to carry the ball. Linden's linemen where the smallest in the league but had an outstanding year. All of these are nice but the bottom line is the Varsity Football Team success came from team- work!
