Yancolowitz, We should like to express our deepest gratitude and extend our hest wishes to Mrs. Edna B. Craw- ford of the social studies depart- ment and Mr. William A. Diehl of the science department, who are retiring this year. ' Mrs. Crawford first came to Lin- den in i925 after five years' teach- ing in Keyport. She has served our community for the past 32 years. Always interested in helping the needy, Mrs. Crawford plans to do extensive welfare work after her retirement. Mr. Diehl has taught school for 31 years, spending 50 years in Linden. His plans for the future include running his farm in Penn- sylvania and going into partnership in 21 construction company there. These two, as well as all of our teachers, have always worked for the betterment of the student body. Our educational program reflects a competent faculty working to! gether in a harmonious and effici- ent manner to help produce well- rounded and educated pupils. 25
