CLASS POEM Donald Waltz is the basketball star of the class, He is always studying so he will pass. Sometimes in class he does not do well, But he does with his girl, Pat Kell. Charles White is quite a lad, He’s the best president we could have had. He has so much fun with the lasses, And always they’re in the lower classes. Charles Kell is a handsome guy, He makes the girls faint and sigh. The reasons are he’s so cute and tall, And he can even play basketball. There’s a girl who’s on the beam, And she’s labeled Barbara Jean. She’s younger than the other kids in the class, But with a few prayers she might possibly pass. Now let’s take a big long look, At a gal named Charlotte Ruch. And when to you she’s looking bored, She’s not, she’s thinking about a boy named Ward. Our class’s red head is quite a girl, The boys from Crawfordsville keep her in a whirl. It’s our quiet librarian, Ruth Ann, Who gets freckles instead of a tan. Our sunshine queen, Miss Barbara Guard, Gives us the impression of working hard. But she always has some time to spend, With Sonny Coopman, her boy friend. Our best salesman is named Lester, He gets by with many a jester. You’ll generally see him in a nice big car, Although his girl friends never live far,
