CLASS PROPHECY and swiped the rest of the beer barrels. This catastrophy left us sober and them unstable. Meanwhile, Barb Jenkins was chasing dogs all over town, so as to add to her collection. She is trying for the honors in procuring the MUTT medal of l963. Two lassies who couldn't attend were Miss Butt , or should I say Mrs. Martin, and Mar- ianne Podeyn. Mrs. Martin was detained by Sir Stork, who hopes to present her with a little Ifredricka. She has two Freddies now. Marianne is now starring in the German version of Little Women . She had to translate the whole book front English to German, so the director thought that she should have a part in it for her trouble. Marianne had also gained the weight she had been hoping for. Speaking of weight, you should see Mollie and her new svelte figure. Remember those Ad capsules that she used all the time? VVell, she's really become an addict now. Can't stop taking them. I was sitting with Pee Wee and Bev Conner, discussing the good spaghetti dishes we used to have at the Rose Bowl, when I learned that Pee was half owner of Ray's Spaghetti House out- side of Philly. And did you know that Ray is now skipper of his own submarine? HMMMMP fiftyffive Bumpy is supposed to be transferred to the por- tals of Philly to help keep those gobs in shape, and Bev was telling me that everything is run- ning smoothly at the new hydro-electric power plant that she started in l956 in upper New York State. Last month I went to Florida to catch julie Adams and her aquacade show at the newly- cleared Everglades. They never saw anything like her there. Gail Corbett and Micky Xviggs are running a singing sister HCL down there, and guess who was introducing them? - Skippy Bray, their artistic mouthpiece. 1 never would have believed it. The next day I happened to hear Barbara Conrad broadcasting from one of the hot spots, telling all the latest society scandals. Barbara told me that once a flash bulletin came in and she was so shocked that she eouldn't broadcast it. Rusty Eick had been caught for administering quaek medical aid to patients, and then play- ing the role ol' undertaker to bury them all. She should be out of San Quentin in about ninety- nine years. Well, life goes one, and I'm afraid I must go on, too. Next week I'm returning to the land of the Frenchmen to see what another ten years can do to me. ELISE SMITH

CLASS PROPHECY keeping all those Spanish papers, Biology papers, and just 'plain papers, that we used to kid her about. She made quite a haul one day selling them to a paper peddler. About half-a-hundred pesos, I theenk. We were comfortably situated when 1:00 roll- ed around, and off we went to the May Day spectacle. QRemember ours?j While looking at the leading dancer, a trim blonde, I couldn't help but think how well Suzy Trapani would look in the role - but she was tripping the light fantastic in a Uniontown., N. J. burlesque thea- tre. Saw her there too - Prettteeee good. Nothing like the Folies Bergeres in Paris, tough. Trudy Margolis was sitting on the aisle in front of me with a horsetail down to her waist. It had been she said, down to where a horsetail usually is, but she had it cut off because it looked too realistic. QThat's logicalj. She has a good position as house- mother, alternating between Pitt and F. 84 M. She knits them all knee socks, too. She does them while she is riding on the train from college to college. Amazing! My other roommate, Nancy Paine, popped in after the show started. She has been training pet mice to do the most fantastic things. Drop her a line sometime and you will get a card with all the latest mouse information. Very unique. She also sends sample mouse-traps, if you're interested, which bear a CLILC little slo- fifty-four gan - If the spring snaps, and there is no mousie, then you need Paine's trap installed in your housie. After the excellent May Day performance, which by the way was entitled Diary of a Gum Chewer , food was again presented to us at the Sutter Hotel. Bobby Raney and jane Shelly ap- pared on the scene, after having been lost for the greater part of the day. Bobby has been modeling for lipstick ads for an Indiana magazine. It is the kind that is called Before and After . Une side of her face is as we used to see, with no lip- stick and the other side is the unveiling of a beauty with non-slip or smudge lipstick. Jane Shelly, the other model, still has her nice smile, which comes in handy, since she is a toothpaste model. YVhile dininig at the Sutter, we learned that Phyl Stadler had kindly provided us with the product of her newly established brewery in her hometown. We all presented a toast with our Linden Hall mugs. It was a touching ceremony. The evening's only dilemma occurred when Hon Pickle's apes and monkeys broke loose
