CLASS POEM 'l'he Original Eight of '52 were quite the gals. and Pranksters too. Our career began in 518. with many a prank that we'll relate: 'l'he baskets rolling down the stairs brought llortot' Horne with icy glares, When noise could he heard all down the hall. the Seniors said, 'l'hey're Frosh, t.hat's all. Still as Sophies ottr deviltries rose, and many a time we came to blows. Many new .juniors seein to appear, and we totaled twenty-seven in our Senior year. And then a metamorphosis took place, and our thoughts turned to a more serious pace. Our future ahead, whatever it be, we felt we could face without uncertainty. For experiences we've shared at Linden Hall will help us climb that ladder so tall. Our future is molded in a path, wide and long, and we will choose the path, right or wrong. But where'er we may go, we shall never forget the Friendships we've made and the People we've met. Phyllis Stadler Marcia Wiggs CLASS SONGQX- V -y . - gg . 1 YVhen our class of '52 ends our years at Linden Hall, Wfe won't be afraid to look back On the joys we have known and the tears we have shed, We will never regret all of those. The works and the trials, the gains and rewards, They will always dwell within. VVith heads held high, and our hearts opened wide, We will never walk alone. Lifeat Linden Hall changed when l'ee Wee Ashley came to us in our Junior year. For heingxonly five feet tall she is certainly crammed with vivaciousness. On the hockey field and tennis courts she has outshown the best of players, while on the corridor and in the classroom her dry wit and pleasant sarcastic humor make her the lov- ahle person she is. 1 , She can always he found writing her daily letter to Rav with a dreamy faraway look on her faceg if you have nerve enough to disturb her during her- epistle writing, all y5n will receive is a mild nod or grunt. Despite Pee's short- ness she loves long skirts and heavy socks. Her neatness in dress, however, never finds her with the Sloppy joe appearance. Her short blonde hair, which never needs curl- ing, makes her the envy of the crowd. Q The future holds a lot of things in store for little l'ee and wherever she happens to go, her independent nature will help her gain everything she strives for. Good things come in small packages. thirty-two QULIE ' 'E H Ifl' MS K .
