OVQVCV OVIOVQ an 9 OVQVQV Olflfne The Lindblom family was shocked by the untimely death of Mr. Iohn Alvir, placement counselor at Lindblom, on lune 8, 1954. Students and teachers who knew him were privileged to feel the sincerity of his interest and the warmth of his friendship. An alumnus of our school, Mr. Alvir was a well-beloved figure at all gatherings where present or former Lindblomites met. He displayed a rich- ness of humanity, which overflowed generously to others. Mrs. Beryldine Wilbur, then Miss Sullards, came to Lindblom in 1923, and soon established herself as a fav- orite. During the succeeding years, she became an out- standing commercial teacher, a beloved division teacher, and a conscientious, kindly administrative aid. Mrs. Wilbur was noted for her generosity, deep sympathy, illimitable patience, and unfailing courtesy. A11 Lindblom was profoundly grieved at her sudden demise on May 16, 1954. Page 23
