Miss Varian Shea Miss Varian Shea, superintendent of High School District Four. is well known to most of us here in Lindblom. Since her appointment ZZ years ago, there has been a continual in- crease in the number of her friends as students and faculty have come to know her better. Lindblom is happy to count Miss Shea as a friend. Lindblom 's Tribute of Love Clear against the sun-set heaven, In the hope-Hlled west, Rise thy stately walls, O Lindblom, Halls with beauty blessed. Born of love thy valiant spirit. Purged with flaming truth, Consecrating to man's service Sturdy, eager youth. Final Refrain Shrouded in the shades of ev'ning, Touched with morning light. English D epartmen to The English department under the direction of Miss Garrity has cn- abled many Lindblom students to understand the complexities of our language. It also introduces them to the best in literature. The speech classes help students to plan assemblies and meetings, and to gain con- fidence in themselves while performing before an audience.
