jlgsfory The Movrng Frnger wrrtes on to grve us our school days rn retrospect One sunny September mornrng tn the year of our Lord 1952 twenty one students entered the drdac trc corrrdors of ole Lrnd Hrgh The halls reverberated wrth the nonsensrcal mrrth of young Freshmen Mr Boldman was chosen as our class advrsor and garned a few gray harrs rn the duratron of hrs term Ilene Damon became our f1rst Presrdent Donald Scheeler V1ce Presrdent Walt Erdman, Secretary and Elmer Fode, Treasurer Two new members, Joanne Stevens and Robert Yellowrobe were garned rn 1952 whtle we lost Nadrne Hopp Blue and whrte, berng popular favorrtes, were adopted as our class colors, and prnk and whrte carnatrons were chosen as the class flowers Reach for the stars was prcked as our class motto Our Sophomore year was made very enjoyable by our movrng up to the new bu11d1ng Mr Wamble became acquarnted raprdly as our advrsor for the year Class offrcers for Ih1S year were Walt Erdman Presrdent Don Rehn Vrce Presrdent Marvrn Stelzer Sec retary and Treasurer and Tom Srmpson, Sergeant at Arms Came the fall of 1954 ahl at last we had attarned the trtle of upperclassmen Our 1mportance began to shrne around school thrs year Gerr1 Watkrns was chosen as F H A Song Leader for Regron IV Ilene Damon was selected to rergn over the Homecomrng Actrvrues Howard Mater recerved the Basketball Insprratronal Award, and Betty Barnett was elected to the posrtton of Yell Queen Coach Latrmer was asked to act as class advrsor and was to see us through many battles and v1ctor1es rn our Junror year One of the greatest v1ctor1es was the Junror Prom held 1n the grade school gym whrch was decorated to the theme of Melody of Love May 20 1955 was the date set for our Junror Senror Banquet The hrgh school cafeterra decorated 1n a Hawauan theme, was the stage for th1s memorable event Mr Kadlec was our guest speaker The year 1955 56 QSCUIOIS at lastj slrpped by all too raprdly We studred hard, thought about the future foh' happy dayj and enjoyed our Senror Ball, Junror Senror Banquet, Class Nrght Baccalaureate and Commencement WOQICQ FACULTY Grve the students more homework psychologrsts say rt doesn t cause nervous breakdowns We went through 2 books anyone care to try for three?
