They were, Dave Cramer in the shotput, with a throw of 45 ft. IOM in. Doug Daeger qualified in the 2 mile run. He placed fourth with a time of IO:33.6 min. Matt Woodyard qualified in the high jump. Matt and another opponent were tied, so a jump off was held to determine which one would advance to district competi- tion. Matt won with a jump of 5 ft. 6 in.
