v- 1' 9' :tm ,eg 9 The LHS Winter Sports' Banquet was held on March lOth, in the cafeteria. The capacity crowd made seating a chore, the extra parents had to eat in the Home Ec. Room. When the time came for the presentation of awards, everyone was squeezed inside the cafeteria. Awards and letters were presented for the following varsity and reserve sports: boys' basketball, girls' basketball, wres- tling and cheerleading. Freshman basketball and cheerleading let- ters were also included. Pic 4 - Mr. Al Lautzenheiser gives high praises to his reserve girls' squad for receiving the Northwest Conference tro- phy. The reserve girls' basketball team finished up their season with a I5-I season record and a 9-O conference record - capturing them the conference title and trophy by beating Ada. Their season record outshined any of the other win- ter sports' records.
