M: We arf' , u - 4- .sf ,ww The girl's basketball season got off to a shooting start as they defeated Columbus Grove their first tough conference victory by a score of 64- 45, They went on to beat Parkway in a struggling overtime 37-35. The Lady Lancers then went on the road to be defeated by Delphos Jefferson and Wayne Trace both in close games, Back at home for two more games, which ended up in split victories, with Perry who they defeated Gl- 29 and Van Wert who beat the Lady Lancers 56- 33. Traveling to Upper Scioto for conference game which the Lancers won easily 69-22. Being A at home for the next two games, which ended up in two disappointments for the Lady Lancers where they played Paulding and Coldwater. Hit- ting the road for three games with Spencerville, Kalida, and Antwerp which the Lady Lancers couldn't muster to bring home a victory, But the next week they played Crestview, a rival and won over the Knights in a close 36-34 game. Then Bluffton for another close game with the Pirates who defeated the Lancers by one point 53-52. On the home court to play Ada the last home game the girls couldn't pull out a victory in 'f www--efw-are-mye1w',s,f+ts'-rr -ffw-wif-4 '- 'P 'ff 'P - 1' ' - 4 ' a close 49-36 game. On the road for the last time the Lady Lancers traveled to Allen East to win over them 7l-2l breaking their record of high scoring game which was 69 but is now 7I. The Lancers ended up with a 6-IO record in regular season and 5-4 in North west conference play. The reserve had their best season ever where they won most of their games and ended up with a l5-I season record and a 9-O conference which helped them capture the Northwest conference Championship.
