They sponsored the 1973 Home- coming with a dance afterwards. They also sponsored this year for the first time, Olympic Day. They also participated in the Student Council Exchange Program with Wayne Trace High School. The Student Council plays an important part in the governing of our student body. LANCER VIEWS STAFF, SITTING: Deb Adam, Nancy Mottinger. STANDING: Ruth Hammons, Lana Drake, Don Medford, Dan Van Wynsberghe, Debbie Hiller, Mr. Schroeder. Advisor, Mr. William Schroeder. The Lancer Views is the name of our school newspaper. The members of the journalism class make up the staff of the Lancer Views. This year the class published ten issues of the paper and one April Fool ' s issue for the enjoyment of the students and faculty. Various jobs of the students are editing, making lay- outs, composing stories, typing stencils, mimeographing and assembling the paper. The Lancer Views received an Honorable Mention in the Northwestern Ohio District Competition newspaper judging contest. This award marks the third consecutive year that the paper has been awarded an Honorable Mention. Lancer Views Co-Editors Deb Adam and Nancy Mottinger. 26
