Science Club Has Many Activities FIRST ROW: Calvin Morris, Dan Van Wynsberghe, Chris Bolton, Brenda Markley, Chris Stirn. SECOND ROW: Mary Van Wynsberehe, Carol Cole, Marilyn Lare, Bev Blythe, Chris Markley, June Sanderson, Don Medford. THIRD ROW: Mr. Mathew, Greg Leffers, Mr. Edinger, Ruth Hammons, Ruth Speakman, Craig Kimmel. The Science Club again sponsored the local Science Fair. This year there were over 100 entries from both the high school and junior high. Members went on a field trip to Columbus to the State Science Fair and the Ohio Historical Museum. The Club sponsored an ecology program, enabling it to be- come a member of the Ecology Council of America. For the project, members sponsored Clean-Up Day for which they painted the large paper cans in the hall. During the basketball season, the Club held a radio raffle. Tom Davis was the winner of a portable, AM FM radio. The Club also held monthly meetings. OFFICERS, SEATED: Dan Van Wynsberghe, President; Chris Markley, Secretary- Treasurer. The Sr. Y-Teens had a busy year consist- ing of monthly meetings with interesting programs. One such program was the Jan- uary meeting which featured a well-known hairstylist who cut hair and gave the girls tips on good grooming. For a money-making project, the girls had an Easter Dance. The final meeting was the Mother and Daughter Tea on May 8. The program fea- tured Prom Parade, a preview of what girls were wearing to Prom. 22
