' The Lincolnview Music Department presented So This Is Paris on May 22, 1970, at 8:00 p.m. This musical comedy, under the direction of Mr. Ward Mowery, presented a candid view of what happened when six, healthy, American teenage girls invade Paris. During their tour they made many new friends, including Paul, a handsome young Frenchman, to whom one of the girls, Carol becomes engaged. They also meet Eve, a crippled French girl, and they organized Ze Block Partee to raise money to send her to the U.S. for an operation. Everyone Enjoyed the Journey The beautiful mermaid queen watched over her underwater kingdom Tonight you ' ll enter the sea of romance. And with the swift-moving tide, You ' ll be taken below the calm blue waves To Neptune ' s Kingdom you ' ll glide. You ' ll slip through the water past Swordfish and coral, Before you know it you ' ll find yourself there. You ' ll survey the depth of that watery place, Sea shell-and mermaids with seaweed for hair. The Kingdom is yours-you are now Lord of all. And granted will be your every wish. You ' ll nibble a leaf from an undersea plant And enjoy the wonders of being a fish.
